TERMS AND CONDITIONS


These general terms and conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself, the consumer. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.


All orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method where appropriate


Prices


Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative if possible.


Brass Bags reserve the right to alter specifications to materials, zips fittings and without prior notice.


Order Processing


Your order is sent directly to our secure offices for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, we will make, pack and dispatch the goods. We will aim to do this as soon as possible in order to try to fulfill our delivery times which are stated on the website however, at certain times there may be considerable delays due to the volume of orders we have received and the resulting waiting list.


Brass bags cannot guarantee stated delivery times.



Returns Policy


If you are not entirely happy with your goods you may return them for a refund or exchange by notifying us within fourteen days of delivery. This does not apply to overseas deliveries. If you are ordering from overseas please contact us directly. Any returns will be refunded in full once the product has been returned. Brass Bags will not be responsible for return shipping but will refund the cost of the goods only when they have been returned unused and undamaged.


Any changes to orders after delivery are possible but upgrades and exchange shipping charges will not be covered.


Your custom is very important to us and we wish to make your purchases as trouble free as possible. We take great care in the processing and dispatch of orders but if you are not entirely satisfied please let us know and we will do our utmost to assist you.


All bags are checked that they are in perfect condition and suitable for their purpose before dispatch. If there is a problem with a bag it must be notified to us as soon as possible and within the fourteen day period, as any damage to the product that is incurred after this time will not be covered by Brass Bags. Please note: Brass Bags will only be responsible for manufacturing faults and damage to bags whilst in transit. Brass Bags are not responsible for damage to instruments for whatever reason this may be incurred.

Our Privacy Policy gives you detailed information on what we collect, how we use it and how we keep it secure.

We only collect the information that's necessary to ship the orders received via website.

We do not store any payment card details on our website. All payments are directly processed by STRIPE which is the merchant bank.


Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.


Encryption of sensitive data and communication 

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).


How do we protect your information?

As an ethical business, we will never share, sell, rent or trade your personally identifiable information to any third parties and your personal information is contained behind secured networks. 


Despite all our precautions, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee the security of any information which you disclose to us and so wish to draw your attention to the fact that you do so at your own risk.


Changes to our policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page.


Employee access


No individuals within our company or Stripe are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Your card information is secure even from their own employees because the systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS


Shipping Information

At Brass Bags we are dedicated to getting your order shipped to you as soon as possible but please remember, a large number of our models are made to order and at certain times there can be a lengthy waiting list.


Whilst we make every effort to ship 'Premier Range' bags within 2 - 4 weeks and 'Custom, Build your own' (plus bags not included in the 'Premier Range') in around 4 - 6 weeks. Please do not contact us for the shipping status of your order within these guidelines. It is sometimes likely, during busy periods, to experience very long delays but be assured that your order will be shipped as soon as it is ready and you will be sent shipping details including a tracking number when the order is shipped.


All orders are packaged securely by ourselves and shipped with the best international couriers at the best rates available to us, for example: UPS, DHL, TNT and the Royal Mail. The price you pay includes insurance against loss or damage in transit. Please note, some countries may charge customs duties before they will deliver your order. This is entirely beyond our control. 


Once your order is shipped, we will be able to issue a tracking number, so you can track the progress of your order. Transit times are roughly - 1 day to the UK,  2-3 days to Europe and North America and 3- 5 days to the rest of the world.
